A 32-year-old woman from Orange, New Jersey, was pronounced dead Thursday, February 25, after State Police troopers from St. Ignace responded to a call at 9:50 a.m. from other motorists passing her vehicle, parked on I- 75 just north of M-123.

According to police, Hilarie Goldson was traveling north toward the Marquette area with her husband and two children. Her husband, police said, thought she was sleeping, but later realized she had stopped breathing.

The State Police report that the cause of death is not yet known.
