Traffic crossing the Mackinac Bridge increased 1.9% for the month of January, compared to January 2009, according to the Mackinac Bridge Authority. This January, 182,416 vehicles crossed the bridge, while 178,965 crossed during January 2009.

For January, truck traffic increased 7% compared to 2009, and fare revenue was up 29.1%. Since last April, bridge traffic has increased every month for 10 consecutive months.
