Host families are sought for exchange students for the next school year, Mackinaw City resident Deni Mahlmeister reports. She attended the 2010 national meeting of Program of Academic Exchange (PAX), an educational foundation that provides host families for teens from more than 35 countries. Ms. Mahlmeister, a PAX community coordinator, has a list of exchange students looking for host families for the 2010- 2011 school year. A host family need not have teens of its own.
