Relay for Life Group Begins Campaign

The Mackinac County Relay for Life organizers used the Guns and Hoses charity basketball game Saturday, March 6, at LaSalle High School in St. Ignace as this year's kickoff event, registering a few relay teams at the door. The Relay for Life committee includes (from left) Jason Byma, Rachel Byma, Connie Cullip, chairperson Sandy Feleppa, Becky Carey, and Tom Carey. “We've signed up some new teams tonight,” Mrs. Feleppa said. “It's already been beneficial.” Relay for Life, a fundraiser for cancer research, takes place in July.
