Kaylene Grogan, 53, of St. Ignace, died Thursday evening, April 15, 2010, at Mackinac Straits Hospital Long Term Care.

She was born February 6, 1957, in St. Ignace to William and Jane (nee Thompson) Grogan.

Ms. Grogan was a graduate of LaSalle High School and formerly worked for Home Health. She also worked for the Driftwood, Embers, The Galley, and the Zodiac.

She is survived by a son, Corey Grogan of Portland, Oregon; two brothers and their families, Keith and Donna Grogan of St. Ignace, and Kevin and Beth Grogan of Marquette; a sister and her family, Kerry and Dan Sheber of St. Ignace; a grandson, Noah Grogan, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held later at Carp River Cemetery.

Dodson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
