A day of food, fun, and prizes is planned for the Super Saturday Family Fair and 4-H Expo Saturday, May 1, at Little Bear East Arena in St. Ignace. It is free of charge.

The event will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and include games, petting animals, visits from fire trucks and a Coast Guard boat, crafts, stories, door prizes, and the "balloon man," Ken Anstice from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. A Pickleball demonstration will be presented by the Great Waters Center for Lifelong Learning, in which participants will be able to try this sport.

Community outreach and education are part of the fair, with booths from community organizations, including the public library, local police, animal groups, 4-H, the health department, and others.
