Mark Hauswirth Mark Hauswirth, formerly of Rudyard, was graduated from Michigan State University May 6 with a degree in osteopathic medicine. Upon his graduation, he was promoted to lieutenant in the United States Navy. He will be employed by the Navy as a family medicine intern at Camp Lejune in North Carolina beginning June 1.

He is the son of Lorna Hauswirth and the late Scott Hauswirth of Rudyard. He is married to Rachel (nee DeLong) Hauswirth and has two children, Logan, 5, and Sophia, 4.

A graduation party was given in his honor Saturday, May 8, in Rudyard.
