Saints Down Hurons In SAC Golf Match

The St. Ignace Saints golf team took a 164-to-196 Straits Area Conference road win over the Rogers City Hurons Tuesday, May 18.

Justin Frazier was low medalist for the Saints with a nine-hole score of 40, Eric Hepker and Patrick Sweeney each carded 41, Curtis St. Louis shot 42, Curtis Gustin shot 43, and Cody Therrian shot 44.

The team of Arnie Frazier, Bucky McPhee, and Russ Caskey finished first during the St. Ignace Golf Club seniors league Tuesday, May 18.

Taking second place were Tom Alkire, Larry Leveille, and Chuck Kingsbury. John McKinnon and Russ Caskey carded low scores of 37 and Caskey recorded low net with 31.
