Brevort Lake Campground is a favorite place for many families from St. Ignace. Cookie Thomas returns each year and enjoys his daily walk as he visits along the way.

Bob and Diane Tamlyn and Kevin and Carol Tamlyn visited relatives and friends in St. Ignace last weekend. While here, they attended the high school graduation for Jayson Fenlon. Happy belated birthday to Jayson May 30.

Paul and LuAnn Krause celebrated their wedding anniversary June 1.
It was great to see Marty and Laurie LaChapelle visiting in St. Ignace. Marty was graduated from LaSalle High School in 1968.
Wesley Therrian and his son, Josh, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, have returned home after spending a week in St. Ignace.
The Sand Dunes on US-2 are already a popular swimming place this early in the season with temperatures rising.
Condolences to the family of Ron Colegrove, who passed away suddenly last week. Services were Tuesday, June 1, at the United Methodist Church.
Lori Bowlby experienced more health problems and returned to Marquette General Hospital last week. Please keep Lori in your prayers.
At left: Dale Latva, Lowell middle school band instructor, directed his final concert Wednesday, May 12. He will retire this spring from teaching after 32 years. He is a 1973 LaSalle High School graduate.
The annual Gros Cap School picnic was Thursday, May 27. There was a good turnout of family with eager children awaiting their summer vacation. Blanche Thomas retired as cook at Gros Cap School Thursday, May 27.
