Barbara Galarowic Barbara Ann Galarowic, 76, of Goetzville, died Monday, June 7, 2010, at Tendercare in Sault Ste. Marie.

She was born April 27, 1934, in Raber to John Joseph and Caroline Katherine (nee Pleva) Galarowic.

Ms. Galarowic was a lifelong resident of Goetzville, where she was a member of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and the Altar Society at the church. She loved visiting with people in the community and truly enjoyed time spent with her family. She enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, and singing, and she was a Tigers baseball fan.

She is survived by two sisters and their families, Paula and James Badder of Brimley, and Serena and James Forgrave of Goetzville; one brother and his family, Benedict John and Jerri Galarowic of Goetzville; nieces and nephews and their families, Perri and Art Cooper, Caroline and David Dykstra, Pamela and Marc Fournier, Tammy and Don Wiley, James A. Badder, Sophia Badder, Jeffrey and Sara Galarowic, Jami Rinker, Joshua and Jennifer Galarowic, Michael and Jennifer Galarowic, Daniel Galarowic, Winny and Bill Yates, Cory and Kym Forgrave, and Cara and Eric Brady, and many great- and greatgreat nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ruth Galarowic, and a niece, Melinda Sebastian.

Services were Thursday, June 10, at 5:30 p.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Goetzville with Father George Vaniyepurackal as celebrant. Visitation was from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Burial was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Reamer Galer Funeral Home in Pickford assisted the family with arrangements.
