‘Annie’ Joins Flock at Mackinaw City

Almost two weeks old, baby lamb “Annie” eats out of the hand of Mike Sutton, mainland park manager. Annie was born Saturday, June 12, at Colonial Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City. Her mother, also named Annie, stays close to the newborn. “Uncle Henry” (left) is more interested in Mr. Sutton's radio than the new baby. The sheep can be found in the animal enclosure right behind the southern palisade walls at Colonial Michilimackinac. The animals are rented from Kim Clair of Levering.
