Downtown Concession Stand Under Construction


Construction began in early June for a concession stand that will be located next to Bay Pharmacy on South State Street in St. Ignace (Spring Street is visible at right of photograph). Called the Gangplank, the store is slated to open this July, said owner Barb Bentgen. Open Monday through Friday during the summer, the Gangplank will serve sandwiches and soft-serve ice cream. Construction is being done by Greg Becker of St. Ignace.
