Karen Gould’s photos accompanying the June 24 Bark in the Park article are outstanding. I especially enjoyed Gunnar’s “best smile.” It truly captured it and made me smile back.

The photos also remind me more dogs, children, and adults, too, are walking and bicycling along our public roadways to enjoy fresh summer air and exercise. I want to encourage motorists to use extra caution when sharing the road with walkers and bikers. Drivers can easily take their foot off the gas and even hover over the brake when passing by our fourand two-legged friends and neighbors. It’s a fine way to keep everyone smiling.
