Les Cheneaux Youth To Perform ‘101 Dalmatians’

Starting with the audition process, 42 young performers of the Les Cheneaux Performing Arts Camp have been working hard to prepare for their moment in the spotlight, which is drawing closer with tickets on sale for the upcoming production of “Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids.” This play will be performed at Cedarville High School's old gymnasium auditorium Saturday, August 7, at 7:30 p.m., and again Sunday, August 8, at 2 p.m.

General admission seating is $5 for adults, $3 for students ages 13 to 17 and senior citizens 65 and older, and $2 for children 12 and younger.

Tickets may be purchased at Safe Harbor Books on M-134 in Cedarville, or the Village Idiom book store on Pickford Avenue in Hessel. Tickets may also be reserved by calling the LCCS Drama Club Box Office at 484- 2256, extension 4.

“Disney’s 101 Dalmatian-Kids” tells the familiar story of the previous animated and live-action film versions, featuring Pongo, Perdita, Cruella de Vil, and lots of puppies. The story is told in a fast-paced musical format especially for younger audiences. It will be produced and directed by Lisa Dunn.
