Portage Players To Perform Musical Comedy ‘Tumbledown Town’

The Portage Players will present a musical comedy suitable for the entire family, entitled “Tumbledown Town,” at the Erickson Center for the Arts in Curtis. The performances will be Thursday, July 29, through Saturday, July 31, at 8 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for children 12 and younger.

Tumbledown Town is an original work by Waterford resident Dan Hazlett, who calls it “a small town love story, full of intrigue and innuendoes, humor, corporate espionage, tragedy, and murder.” The cast is comprised of Mr. Hazlett, Bob Marshall, Maureen Paraventi, and Christine Kapusky, who take on 10 roles.

Tickets are available at Curtis Service, Chamberlin’s Ole Forest Inn, Erickson Center for the Arts, and Spruce it Up! in Curtis, Moose du Nord in McMillan, and UP Trading Company in Newberry. Tickets will also be available at the door.
