Mark “Marko” Howland, Jr.
Mark Andrew “Marko” Howland Jr., 22, of Kincheloe, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at his home.
He was born October 2, 1987, in Petoskey.
Mr. Howland attended and was graduated from Rudyard Area Schools. He enjoyed playing baseball and racing cars at the Kinross Speedway. He was also a talented artist, friends said, who completed numerous pencil drawings.
He is survived by his mother, Maggie (nee Hough) Howland of Kincheloe; his father and stepmother, Mark and Alivia Howland of Rudyard; and three brothers, Anthony Howland and Paul Howland, both of Kincheloe, and Garrett Howland of Rudyard. Also surviving are his grandparents, Pearl Hough of Sault Ste. Marie, and William and Gail Howland of Rudyard.
He was preceded in death by two uncles, Paul Howland and Brian Howland; a grandfather, Jim Hough, and a grandmother, Lila Howland.
Services were Sunday, August 8, at Reamer Galer Funeral Home in Pickford. A gathering time was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the service at 8 p.m.
