Two branch managers from First National Bank, Merle Edwards and Joanne Waybrant, were promoted as assistant vice presidents and a third officer, Kathy Kish, was promoted to vice president, the First National Bank of St. Ignace announced Wednesday, August 11.

Ms. Edwards began her employment in 1996 and manages the West Mackinac County branch in Naubinway. Ms. Waybrant joined the bank in 2001 and manages the Les Cheneaux branch in Cedarville. Ms. Kish will continue to manage the Newberry branch office, as she has since 1995.

“These promotions are welldeserved, and are a reflection of the numerous contributions that Kathy, Merle, and Joanne have made in achieving continued growth and success in the market areas they oversee for us,” said James North, bank president and CEO.
