Engadine-Gould City
Hello, everyone. It’s hard to believe September is right around the corner and the school bells will be ringing soon.
Laney Pucket, our granddaughter, did something amazing last week. She just turned nine years old, and while swimming with her father in a local pool, she was playing with a bouncy ball with a small toddler at the pool. The little girl threw Laney's ball into the shallow end and it sank to the bottom. When Laney, who swims very well, went in to get it, the little girl decided to jump in after the ball herself. The water was over her head, and she couldn’t swim. Laney went down after this small child immediately, pulling her up from the bottom, and she may have literally saved this child's life. We are so proud of her.
