Oner Lee
Oner Eleise Hill Lee, 84, of Rockville, Maryland, formerly of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010, in Maryland.
The daughter of Frank Hill and Queenie Norris Hill, she and her late husband, Kenneth Lee, were employed by the late Senator Philip Hart and Janey B. Hart.
She spent many summers on Mackinac Island. While there, she met and married the love of her life, Kenneth Lee.
Her inquisitive nature was obvious to people wherever she went. From babies to adults, no one was a stranger to her. Mrs. Lee made many friends wherever she went. She traveled extensively, either alone or with family and friends. Always a classy and well-dressed lady, friends said, she lived well and with no regrets. She maintained a good sense of humor, and kept informed of current world events. She was known for her memory and sharp mental skills.
She is survived by three sisters, Martha Ward of Nashville, Tennessee, Connie Fortson of Atlanta, Georgia, and Lucy Macon of Dalton, Georgia; two brothers and their families, Albert Hill, Sr. of Dalton, Georgia, and Russell and Roslyn Hill of Detroit; two nephews, Steve Raines of Baltimore, Maryland, and Iva Lee Macon of Dalton, Georgia; her adopted family, Ann Hart of Delmar, New York, Cammie Hart of West Hartford, Connecticut, Walter and Lisa Hart of Haverford, Pennsylvania, Jim and Tina Hart of Pasadena, California, Michael Patrick Hart of Mackinac Island, Clyde and Betsy Hart of St. Ignace, May Hart and Robert Colombo of Floyd, Virginia, and Laura H. and Robert Cole, and other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
