My daughter and I went up to St. Ignace for the memorial of Father Bill Goudreau August 17. He was my friend since the early 1930s. I knew him and all his people. It was a beautiful ceremony, and I say this, “Eternal rest grant on to him, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon him. Gone but not forgotten.”
