The Mackinac Island Airport closure has been changed to begin Tuesday, September 14, rather than the previously announced date of Monday, September 13. The airport will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, through Friday, September 17. Contractors will be making repairs to the runway. The runway will be open before and after those hours each day and on the weekend.

If the tarmac requires additional work, it will be scheduled to begin Monday, September 20.
