Shaun and Emily Murray Emily Jo Geimer and Shaun Michael Murray of Toledo, Ohio, were united in marriage Saturday, August 7, 2010, at Ste. Anne’s Catholic Church on Mackinac Island, with Father Jim Williams officiating.

Parents of the couple are Phillip R. and Linda Geimer, Larry and Vickie Rumschlag of Decatur, Indiana, and Walter J. and Reinette Murray of St. Ignace.

Bridesmaids were Leslie Pettibone and Mandy Pettibone-Pond, sisters of the bride, Lynnette Raypole, and Lindsey Pakkala. Flower girls were Cecelia Murray and Charlotte Murray, cousins of the groom.

Walter J. Murray III, brother to the groom, and Eric Strzempek were best men and groomsmen were Lt. Cdr. Patrick Murray, Zach Moore, Adam Sholl, Travis Raypole, and Drew Nagle. The ring bearer was Caleb Geimer, nephew of the bride.

The bride wore a diamond white gown and the groom an ivory dinner jacket. The wedding party wore black tuxedos and black dresses.

The reception was held at the Mackinac Island Yacht Club, where entertainment was provided by the Myk Rise Band. More than 250 family members and friends representing 14 different states and coming from as far as South Africa traveled for the nuptials.

The bride holds both a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Business Administration from Indiana University and is employed at Owens in Perrysburg, Ohio.

The groom is a graduate of Michigan State University and is employed as a lobbyist with the Associated General Contractors in Toledo.
