Second at X-Country Meet
The St. Ignace Saints girls and boys finished second during the small school division of the Pro Sports Cross Country Invitational at Sault Ste. Marie Thursday, September 2. September 2.
Girls Results: Rachel Hetherington, ninth in 23:33, Molly Paquin, 17th in 24:39, Taylor Becker 26:27, Heather Beaudoin 28:01, Rachel Therrian 28:50, Savannah Seccia 31:59, and Rebecca La- Londe 34:10.
Boys Results: Patrick Sweeney 23rd in 19:59, Ben Damron 20:48, Joe Snowaert 20:51, Kacey Bunker 21:30, Andrew Sjogren 22:01, Bradley Gustafson 23:36, Marty Donajkowski 25:02, and Jacob Sjogren 25:03.
The Saints will compete at the East Jordan Invitational Wednesday, September 8, at 4 p.m., the Superior Central Invitational Saturday, September 11, at 12 p.m., and the Cheboygan Invitational Tuesday, September 14, at 5 p.m. St. Ignace will host the LaSalle High School Invitational Tuesday, September 28, at 4 p.m.

Rudyard Boys, Girls
Fifth At Ogemaw Invite
The Rudyard Bulldogs boys and girls finished fifth during the Ogemaw Heights Cross Country Invitational Saturday, September 4. David Jarvie led the Bulldogs boy’s squad (150 points) with a third place finish in 17:45.07 and TJ Rice 16th in 18:44.64
Leah Jarvie led the Rudyard girl’s team (119 points) with a sixth place in 23:27.33, Rebecca Malaski 22nd in 23:27.33, Samantha Raffaele 26th in 23:45.12, and Monica Malaski 32nd in 24:18.43.
Cadillac won the boys division with 48 points and Alpena placed first in the girls meet with 26 points.
