St. Ignace Hosts Bridge Brawl Tourney

Phil’s Driving School won the Lake Michigan division of the Bridge Brawl Bantam B tournament, held at Little Bear East Arena in St. Ignace Friday, January 6, through Sunday, January 8. The team won two games and lost one, scored 17 goals and allowed 12 goals, according to results posted by Recreation Director Scott Marshall.

The St. Ignace Saints were in second place with two wins and one loss, 15 goals scored and nine goals allowed. In third place was Keweenaw Bay with two wins and one loss, seven goals scored and 10 goals allowed. In fourth place was Mount Clemens with three losses, six goals scored and 14 goals allowed.

In the Lake Huron division, Top Line Electric took first place with one win and two ties, eight goals scored and seven goals allowed.

In second place was Rochester, with one win, one loss, and one tie, nine goals scored and nine goals allowed. In third place was St. Clair Bruins with one win, one loss, and one tie, three goals scored, and three goals allowed. In fourth place was Escanaba Hawks with one loss and two ties, seven goals scored, and eight goals allowed.
