Engadine Consolidated Schools announced the winners of its spelling bee Wednesday, January 25. Two students from each grade qualified to compete in the district spelling bee competition in St. Ignace Tuesday, February 7.

Winners are as follows:

Fifth Grade: 1st- Alexander King; 2nd- Collin Rushton

Sixth Grade: 1st- Stephanie Owens; 2nd- Hughie Bigelow

Seventh Grade: 1st- Olivia Vaughn; 2nd- Trevor Brawley

Eight Grade: 1st- Aspen Hood; 2nd- Abigail Miller
