The Gros Cap School spelling bee winners were announced Wednesday, January 25. The students are qualified to compete in the district spelling bee competition, to be held in St. Ignace Tuesday, February 7.

Winners are as follows:

Fifth Grade: 1st- Sarah Doran; 2nd- Shyanne Bird

Sixth Grade: 1st- Alicia Garen; 2nd- Aaron Welch

Seventh Grade: 1st- Steve Seccia; 2nd- David LaVake

Eighth Grade: 1st- Ben Doran; 2nd- Tayler Schnicke
