Those interested in ice bowling on Moran Bay during the U.P. Pond Hockey tournament at St. Ignace are asked to register by calling Little Bear East Arena at 643-6081 before Friday, February 10. Teams have four members and registration will be capped at 20 teams.

Ice bowling is similar to regular bowling, except it’s played on the ice with pieces of lumber used as bumpers. Players will be responsible for racking their own pins, but children will be available to rack pins for tips.

The tournament will be Saturday, February 18, during Pond Hockey. Check-in for bowlers is at 9:30 a.m. and the bowling begins at 10 a.m. First, second, and third-place teams will receive gift certificates to local restaurants. Registration fee is $30 per team.
