A new February event, Pickford Winterfest, will be scheduled for Friday, February 17, Saturday, February 18, and Sunday, February 19, in Pickford.

On February 17, there will be family skating at the township park from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

On February 18, a “Pickford Polar Run” of 5K and 10K begins at 9 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., there will be blindfolded snowmobile races, with concessions open at the Pickford Fire Department.

On February 19, spectators may watch the Soo Eagles hockey team take on the Pickford team at 2 p.m.. Snow sculpting will be judged February 19.
