Harold Rolston

Harold Rolston, 60, of Kincheloe, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at his home, surrounded by family members. He had resided in Moran for years.

He was born January 5, 1956.

Mr. Rolston was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

He painted at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island for many years.

Mr. Rolston loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Rolston; four children and their families,

Jim and Pam Belonga of Lapeer, Jamie and Lester Driggers, Paul and Kristin Rolston, and Todd Rolston, all of Florida; two stepchildren, Chris Crusoe of Kincheloe and Brooke and John Comer of Florida; 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by eight siblings and their families, Cissy Harmon of Kincheloe, Debbie Rolston, E.J. LaDuke, Doris LaDuke, and Norman LaDuke, all of St. Ignace, Keith LaDuke of Kincheloe, Joe and Lynn LaDuke of Newberry, and Roxanne and Jason Belonga of St. Ignace; two half-sisters, Cindy Duren and Paula Rolston, both of Colorado, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Rolston was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa LaDuke; his stepfather, Ernie LaDuke; his father, Paul Rolston, and a half-brother, Terry Duren.

Services have already been held.

C.S. Mulder Funeral Home in Sault Ste. Marie assisted the family with arrangements.
