Brett Miller

Brett Miller Brett Miller Brett R. Miller, 40, a resident of Newberry since 2011, died Tuesday evening, December 6, 2016, at his home.

He was born March 6, 1976, to Richard and Chyleen (nee Hollington) Miller in Alpena.

Mr. Miller was graduated from Alpena High School in 1994. He attended Alpena Community College.

He married Mishell Freese August 27, 1999, in Alpena.

Mr. Miller was a hard worker employed in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry, and he held several certificates and licenses. He presently was employed with Klaty’s Plumbing and Heating in Newberry.

A resident of Florida for 10 years, he enjoyed the palm trees and warm weather. He enjoyed hunting, and doing puzzles and other activities that challenged his brain. Mr. Miller had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was admired by his family, friends, and coworkers.

He is survived by his wife, Mishell of Newberry; six children, Erin, Brett, Pamela, Emma, Joey, and Ayden, all of Newberry; his parents, Richard and Chyleen Miller of Beaver Lake; his grandmother, Glyde Hollington of Beaver Lake, and two siblings and their families, Nicholas and Jennifer Miller of Kalkaska and Thane and Christie Miller of Vancouver, Washington. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Pamela Freese of Engadine; three brothers-in-law and their families, Jimbo and Steph Freese, Andy and Cathy Freese, and Justin and Marisa Freese, all of Engadine, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Hollington.

Services were Tuesday, December 13, at 1 p.m. at Beaulieu Funeral Home in Newberry with Pastor John Troyer officiating. Visitation was Monday, December 12, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
