Gail Lytle

Gail Lytle Gail Lytle Gail Lynn Lytle, 42, of Drummond Island, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at her daughter’s home.

She was born June 24, 1974, in Saginaw. She worked for several businesses on Drummond Island, until she retired because of an illness with cancer.

Ms. Lytle grew up in St. Charles, College Station, Texas, and Drummond Island. She was graduated from DeTour Area High School in 1993. After high school, she lived in Lawrenceville, Georgia, before returning to Drummond Island, where her daughter grew up.

In her earlier years, she played the flute. She hunted deer, bear, and the occasional alligator. She was outgoing, adventurous, and fearless. Ms. Lytle loved her pets, and is the owner of two dogs, Mister and Sissy, and four cats, Oakley, Honey, Sebastian, and Orange Cat.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Lauren Lytle of Drummond Island; her father and stepmother, Edward and Kathy Lytle of LaBelle, Florida; a brother, Edward Lytle Jr. of Alpena; a nephew, Noah Lytle, and a special friend, Kevin Fralick.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elnora Near.

No services are planned at this time.

R. Galer Funeral Home in Pickford assisted the family with arrangements.
