Aaron Reynolds

Aaron Reynolds Aaron Reynolds Aaron Scott Reynolds, 33, of Ishpeming, died Thursday, January 5, 2017, at his home. He had been in ill health since 2008, battling the effects of Hodgkin’s lymphoma and chemotherapy.

He was born February 5, 1983, to Charles and Debra (nee Moses) Reynolds in Ishpeming.

Mr. Reynolds grew up in Ishpeming. He was graduated from Ishpeming High School in 2001. He attended Northern Michigan University off and on for three years, where he studied computer science.

He was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

Always interested in how things worked, Mr. Reynolds enjoyed building computers, and he made several of his own computer systems. He was creative, and he liked computer gaming. He enjoyed snowboarding, and he considered himself an “aggressive skater” when rollerblading. He was courteous and kind, and he was an instigator when it came to being mischievous with his buddies. Mr. Reynolds loved his sister, and he was very protective of her, even when she believed he was misguided by being a New England Patriots fan.

He is survived by his parents, Charles and Debra Reynolds of Marquette; a sister and her family, Brittany and Ryan Carlson of Sands; his maternal grandmother, Ilene Moses of St. Ignace, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank Moses, and his paternal grandparents, William and Shirley Reynolds.

A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, January 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Fassbender Funeral Home in Marquette.
