Mackinaw City J.V. Defeated 43-21 by Harbor Light

The Swordsmen would go on to defeat the Comets 43-21. The Mackinaw City junior varsity girls basketball team was defeated Friday, January 13, at home by Harbor Light Christian. The Swordsmen outscored the Comets in each quarter on their way to a 43- 21 victory. The game preceded the school’s homecoming varsity basketball game.

The Swordsmen opened an early 9-2 lead by the end of the first quarter and led 23-8 at halftime. Harbor Light again held a 9-7 edge in the third quarter before ending the game by outscoring Mackinaw City 11-6 in the fourth.

Comets Statistics: Calysta Bell, nine points; Gabi Bell, five points; Raeann Hingston, four points; Kyra Cryderman, two points; Tamara Ming, one point.
