Helen Brown

Helen Brown Helen Brown Helen Doris Brown of Saint Ignace, Michigan passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017. Born October 12, 1922, she was the daughter of Harry and Lulu Taylor, went to LaSalle High School, and was the loving wife of Floyd Brown until his passing in 1986. She was an amazingly patient woman who had a gift of putting one at ease. She left behind two daughters, Diane Talley, and Marsha Brown-Starling,her son-in-law Pete Starling, as well as granddaughter, Dilena Talley. Her most proud achievement was being a wife and a mother of four children. She was a veteran W.A.V.E., who in her later years used her learned skills to help the elderly. With her patience and dedication to others, she will leave behind family and friends, who will remember her smile, laughter, and constant praises. She always had a kind word and a loving heart which will always be missed. Heaven has just received a very grateful and bright angel, who is excited and please to be with her beloved husband, two sons and a mound full of licorice and starlight mints. With all of our love, we say goodbye to you mom/grandma, may your days be full of rest and loveliness! Burial of her ashes will be in September, when the weather is warmer and the family can get together to celebrate her life however those plans are still in progress.
