James Ringler

James Edward Ringler, 69, of DeTour Village, passed away early Thursday morning, April 6, 2017, at the EUP Hospice House in Sault Ste. Marie.

He was born February 18, 1948, to Donald and Nina (nee Flanery) Ringler in Detroit.

After he was graduated from high school, Mr. Ringler served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. He spent two years in Germany.

He married Sally Richardson May 3, 2002, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Ringler was employed as a hi-lo driver with Ford Motor Company. He was a member of UAW.

He enjoyed fishing and both playing and watching baseball. He also enjoyed visiting the casino with his wife and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sally; two sons and their families, Robby Denninger of Germany and Bobby Ringler of Tampa, Florida; three stepchildren and their families, Kari Kind-Adams of Orlando, Florida, Christy and David Ford of Lakeland, Florida, and Ken and Julie Kind of Winter Haven, Florida, and four grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister and her family, Donna and Bob Zygai of Sterling Heights.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.

C.S. Mulder Funeral Home in Sault Ste. Marie assisted the family with arrangements.
