Crowds Flock to Curtis for Big Day

Independence Day Always Means a Gala Celebration in This Small EUP Town

The Curtis community celebrated Independence Day in its usual festive style Sunday, July 2, with a big parade, music performances in the park, a craft show, barbecue, and fireworks. Here, Shriners in small cars drive through the Curtis parade route, often shaking hands with those on the sidelines. People in other parade vehicles passed out candy to children along the way.
