Michael Moore

Michael Moore Michael Moore Michael William Moore, 54, of Cadillac, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 13, 2017, at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital.

He was born September 10, 1962, to Lee and Vivian (nee O’- Donnell) Moore in Sault Ste. Marie.

Mr. Moore worked for NOC and Hope Network for 36 years. He was a resident of the Magnolia AFC Home in Manton and enjoyed many friendships and outings there.

He loved basketball, bowling, and trips to the Upper Peninsula with his niece, Debbie. He showed more love and laughter than most, family members said, and he always had the biggest smile and gave the best hugs. He came to have a special connection with his brother-in-law, Bob.

He is survived by his siblings and their families, Gloria and Bob Mattison of Cadillac, Alice and Don Howe of St. Ignace, Jackie and Jerry Klein of Eckerman, Don and Kathy Moore of Paradise, and Pat and Chris Moore of Georgia; his inlaws, Jody Moore, Vyvyan Moore, and Earnest Neumann, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by siblings Kenneth Moore, Carol Neumann, Jerry Moore, and James Moore; two nephews, Troy Mattison and Mike Lee; a great-nephew, Joshua Perry, and a great-niece, Trisha Litzner.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, August 26, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Paradise with Father Marty Flynn officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to time of the service at the church. A luncheon will follow the service at the Paradise Senior Center.

Burial will be at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery in Paradise.

Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac assisted the family with arrangements.
