Low Score of 59 Takes Win at Mackinaw City Golf Outing

The annual Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce Mighty Mac Golf Outing fundraiser Tuesday, July 25, at the Mackinaw Club Golf Course reports the following results:

There was a three-way tie for first place in the men’s division, with a score of 59. A coin toss decided the order: First place: Billy Borst, Rusty Preston, Randy Stuck, and Doug Rearick; second place: Matt Cooley, Ken Fegan, Dan Cooley, and Tony Ingersoll, and third place: Steve Kirsch, Cory Bonter, Sami Kotkavaara, and Brennan Wachter.

In the mixed division, Don Bodzick,

Roberta Taylor, Joe Bodzick, and Jim Collins came in first place, with a score of 70. Coming in second place were Chris Herald, Dana Marvin, Jim Holtz, and Paul Fifer, with a score of 80.

Aaron Thompson won $100 in the 50/50 drawing.

Specialty game winners were Roberta Taylor, Ron Maleport, Joe Sterrett, Team Little Bear Borst, Dave Sterrett Team, Rusty Preston, Dave Zulski, and Darrell Marble.

Three teams, Team Zulski, Team Keyhole, and Team Sault Printing, tied in the skin’s pot and split $180.
