Judson Brown

Judson Brown Judson Brown Judson Granger Brown, 96, of Cedarville, was a chemical engineer, inventor, sailor, barbershop quartet member, tough on power tools, and a lifetime member of the Clean Plate Club. He was proud to say he was a nonconformist and captain of his own ship, and if you offered him a ride in your boat, he would gladly take a turn at the helm. Mr. Brown died peacefully Friday, September 15, 2017, at Cedar Cove Assisted Living in Cedarville.

He was born July 19, 1921, to George Granger and Dorothy Martin Brown in Ann Arbor.

He was happily married to Marjorie Sprague Brown for 68 years. She died November 15, 2016.

Mr. Brown and his wife retired to their vacation property in Cedarville in 1982, where they remained active in many local charitable organizations.

He is survived by five children and their families, Diane Cosby, Randy Brown, Lynn Hogg, Susan Caldbeck, and Donald Brown; 10 grandchildren, and eight greatgrandchildren.

Mr. Brown preferred a quiet family service, and it is planned for next summer.
