Delores Fenske

Delores Fenske Delores Fenske Delores C. Fenske, 77, formerly of Engadine and most recently of Pentland Township, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Golden Leaves Living Center in Newberry.

She was born July 8, 1940, to Dallas and Margie (nee Lawrence) McMichael in Wayne.

Mrs. Fenske attended Coldwater High School.

She married Ronald Fenske October 24, 1960. In 1963, they moved to Engadine, where they owned and operated a cattle farm.

Mrs. Fenske worked as a milk inspector for the Michigan Dairy Herd Association for seven years. She was a former member, president, and treasurer of the Farm Bureau. She served as the former treasurer of the Engadine Historical Museum. She was also a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Fenske enjoyed farming and gardening.

She is survived by two children and their families, Daniel and Angela

Fenske of Coldwater and Deanna and Myrv Dake of Newberry; seven grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three siblings and their families, Douglas and Carol McMichael, Edith and Louis Higbee, and Norman and Donna McMichael, all of Coldwater.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fenske was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, who died in 2007, and two brothers, Lonnie McMichael, who died in 2012, and Clifford McMichael, who died in 2016.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 21, at 11 a.m. at the Engadine Cemetery with Pastor Art Bode officiating.

Beaulieu Funeral Home in Newberry is assisting the family with arrangements.
