Engadine Consolidated Schools

by Angie McArthur
Superintendent

December is a great time to come out and support our students. Wednesday, December 6, is the seventh through 12th grade band concert beginning at 7 p.m. The bands will perform a variety of holiday music, under the direction of Casey Snyder. The kindergarten through 6th grade music concert, under the direction of Jomay Bomber, will be Thursday, December 14, at 6:30 p.m. Come enjoy and support our music program.

In addition to the students’ musical talents, boys and girls basketball has begun. Check the school calendar at https://Engadine.eupschools.org to find the most updated schedules. Senior citizen passes are available for $25, which covers all sports home events. Contact Debbie DeWyse at (906) 477-6449 if interested.

The Key Club is having a sock drive to distribute socks to homeless shelters. Please drop off new, preferably black socks at school until Friday, December 15. For more information, visit www.thejoyofsox.org. In addition, the elementary and high school student councils are holding a penny drive and canned goods drive. We appreciate the generosity of all those who contribute.

Please remember that we have a revised school calendar. The Christmas break begins with a noon dismissal Thursday, December 21. School resumes Tuesday, January 2.
