A graded vacant lot has replaced the St. Ignace downtown building destroyed by fire January 6. The building remains at 368 North State Street were torn down by Belonga Excavating Thursday, January 21. Lot owner Tom Briggs of St. Ignace said he is unsure if he will replace the structure.
