John “Jack” William Jamieson, age 87, of St. Ignace, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday evening, November 12, 2022, surrounded by family after a brief illness with cancer. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on May 20, 1935, to John and Sarah Jamieson.

In 1988, he married the love of his life, Karen Estes. He retired in 1999, and he and Karen moved to North Carolina, and from there they moved to the mountains of Tennessee. They eventually moved back to St. Ignace after realizing that was their home.

Jack is survived by his wife, Karen; brother-in-law, Craig Estes; sister-in-law, Tina; and many beloved friends.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, John and Sarah Jamieson, and son, Scott Jamieson.
